Custom Designed Cables Ltd & our Sister Company Goodwin Machinery Ltd have just returned from a successful opportunity to meet new and existing customers.

The week long exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany from the 12th April until the 23rd April 2010 of the World's leading experts within the industry coming together to showcase the latest technologies within the field.

Cold Storage Cable

Working with a UK Based Consultant, Custom Designed Cables Ltd for the past few months have been manufacturing a number of alternative cables required for operation within a large Cold Storage unit.

The cable is required to operate at a constant -30 degrees c temperature whilst remaining flexible and maintaining full electrical integrity.

The use of Silicone Cores and Hybrid Oversheathing Materials has proven to show improvements in the Longevity of the cable and the next phase of the trials is to improve the cables's mechanical strength by using various cable braid configurations.

Masterbatch Colour Matching

Custom Designed Cables Ltd recently won a contract to provide a custom cable replacement within a two week time frame.

The original cable used small diameter wires and coaxial cables that had to be sourced but more importantly, the extruded cable oversheath had to be a match for a specific Ral Shade.

Working with our Masterbatch supplier, we were able to efficiently have the colour matched and a suitable masterbatch was supplied.

This enabled CDC Ltd to meet the tight delivery time frame with the correct colour match.

Ribbon Cables

Custom Designed Cables Ltd is now able to provide Bespoke Ribbon Cables either Screened or just Jacketed to a wide variety of Market Sectors and Applications.
